Job description:
We are looking for a certified welder for a challenging position within the offshore sector. For this position, it is important that you have experience with the 136 (FCAW) and 138 (MCAW) welding processes. Although you can already have a welding certificate for these processes, this is not a requirement. A welding test will be taken during the application procedure. This test will have to be performed as follows. ‘Welding a steel pipe (S355) in the 6G position with MCAW (138) welding wire for the penetration and FCAW (136) welding wire for filling and closing’. If you pass the welding test, you can start working immediately within the offshore industry, with many opportunities for long-term projects.
Responsibilities:
Performing high-quality welding work at offshore locations according to the 136 and 138 processes.
Participate in a welding test on steel pipes (S355) in the 6G position in advance to obtain or renew your certification and to be able to start working in this position!
Working on various welding projects within the offshore sector, where quality and safety are paramount.
Maintaining welding equipment and tools to ensure safe and efficient working conditions.
Job requirements:
Experience with the 136 (FCAW) and 138 (MCAW) welding processes (Tube, BW, 6G).
Willingness to work in an offshore environment, with long-term projects.
Quality-oriented and accurate work according to the specifications and safety requirements.
In possession of a VCA certificate, or prepared to obtain it in the short term.
