Our client is a 100 room 5 star hotel on one of the Greek islands.

Role Overview

Cook B is responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to established recipes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and assisting with inventory control.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Assisting Cook A in supervising and training junior kitchen staff (Cook C)
  • Ensuring food items are prepared to meet quality standards and are presented according to menu specifications
  • Maintaining kitchen hygiene and cleanliness in assigned workstations
  • Assisting in inventory control by monitoring stock levels and informing Cook A or kitchen management of low supplies
  • Following all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Working in a timely and efficient manner to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen
    Assisting in the organization and storage of food ingredients according to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in hospitality, or the luxury industry
  • Α Bachelor’s degree in Culinary
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English language. Any additional language will be considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
