1262 – CNC millers and CNC turner
CNC millers and CNC turner (both at same company)
CNC millers: Operating and setting. Any experience with program editing using Mazak/Mazatrol centres is preferred.
CNC turner: Operating and setting of Okuma lathes. Candidates must have experience with machining (very) large/long products. Any experience with program editing is preferred. All candidates must have relevant CNC machining experience and be able to work accurate and precise while mainly producing large series. This company has a strict policy when it comes to not showing up or being late at work without calling in and a good reason so it’s important you are reliable and punctual.
Work will most likely be done in a permanent late shift (14.30 – 23.00 hours) but this could also change into a dayshift or combined maybe (2 shifts) so you must be open to all these possibilities. Candidates with their own motorised transport are strongly preferred as affordable accommodation within cycling distance from the company is very limited. Company is based near Den Haag (The Hague) in the Netherlands. Long term job for the right candidates. Start: A.s.a.p. Pay is for both positions is 18,50 Euro NET (so after tax etc.) for the first 40 hours per week, inclusive holiday pay and shift allowance; see general information below this message for conditions regarding this pay rate! There’s extra pay for overtime.
General information when working in The Netherlands:
All mentioned pay rates are only applicable if you have a British National Insurance number, can proof you are (still) residing in the UK (with recent utility bills, council tax documents etc) and preferably a British passport. Else we need to employ you on the Dutch system and due to higher taxes in The Netherlands, the net pay will be less but there are other benefits that aren’t available for people working on the British system. We can only employ EU-residents!
All starters (with proof of British residency) will get a contract from employer, who is based in England.
To have own transport (car preferably) is a bonus because there will not always be (affordable) accommodation available close to the company.
We will find accommodation for you. For the initial period this is normally a guesthouse, room in a shared house etc. and prices vary between 18 and 28 euro p/night which you have to pay for yourself. When the contract is more secure we can help you find more permanent and often cheaper accommodation.
Regarding travel to The Netherlands we like you to arrange and pay for your flight/ferry/train yourself. After 80 hours of work we will pay a maximum of 100 Euro’s back towards the costs for your travel (inclusive ferry/flight/train/petrol etc). For this we need a flight/ferry/train booking confirmation, petrol receipts etc. Without receipts we can not reimburse anything.
All candidates must speak/understand the English language to at least a reasonable level. If you speak/understand (some) Dutch as well this is a bonus; so if you do please make sure you mention this to us.
