Our client is a unique organisation delivering acute and community services coupled with integrated community health and social care that is organised around primary care.
As an integrated Trust, we provide care that is judged as excellent by our patients.
We provide acute care based from North Devon District Hospital in Barnstaple.
In our 17 community hospitals across Exeter, east, mid and north Devon we provide community inpatient care and rehabilitation with a mix of GP and consultant-led beds.
Our community health and social care teams support 6000 individuals to live healthily and independently in their own homes. We do this by responding rapidly to avoid hospital admissions and providing support to enable patients to leave hospital as soon as is safe.
We also offer a range of pan-Devon specialist community services such as health promotion, sexual health and podiatry.
This means that we are very different to other NHS Trusts and can offer a wide range of opportunities to staff.
Responses to the national inpatient, outpatient, maternity and staff surveys regularly put us in the top 20% of Trusts in England.
The majority of patients tell us they would be extremely likely to recommend our care to their friends and family, and the majority of staff reporting high motivation and looking forward to coming into work. We are proud of our successes and are nearing the final stages of our application to become an NHS Foundation Trust.
We have revenue of £206 million, employ over 4,400 staff and serve a population of 484,000 across a geography of 1,300 square miles. Devon itself is a beautiful and varied county. It arches across the top of the SW peninsular offering ideal locations and activities for all.
Opportunities have arisen in Seaton, Sidmouth, Honiton, Ottery St Mary, Exmouth and Exeter to join our team in delivering high-quality care to patients, in a variety of specialties.
